eLN Coffee Mornings

We have hosted our second coffee morning which is held exclusively for eLN members. The coffee morning is a drop-in session for people to meet other members and have an informal chat about pretty much anything. Topics have ranged from the current work environment, portfolios, blog writing, future events and much more.

If we start to have a couple of different conversations or if people want to talk about specific projects which they are working on we can put you in a breakout room too for a more private chat.

The sessions are hosted by eLN Director Kim Ellis and include eLN board members such as Joan Keevill and Andy Moorman so any questions you have about events or what you want to see more of can be discussed too.

The main focus of these sessions is to give members an opportunity to meet each other and just have a natter over a cuppa. Some people like to come on just to have the conversations going on in the background while they work and others just pop in for a half hour chat.

The eLN is about community, our community, so let’s get together and celebrate being part of this fantastic network of people. Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what people had to say:

“The coffee morning was great today, talking about things ranging from tips for virtual training to lockdown hairstyles! So nice to speak to people with similar work interests and make new connections.” Lucia Carr, eLN Member

“The coffee morning is a relaxed, informal opportunity to get to know others in the eLN community, share ideas, pick their brains, and get involved whilst dipping in and out around work demands.” Helen Hill, eLN Member

“An insightful session, learnt about some books to add to my reading list, got some names of learning experts to follow and a general chat about e-learning and virtual classrooms. Thank you for organising.” Anju Patel, eLN Member
