Join Learning Network members for a series of roundtables, networking sessions and a choice between a coworking afternoon or an action mapping workshop with our very own Kim Ellis. Toby Harris from Filtered, our industry partner kindly sponsoring this event, will also be there to demystify ChatGPT for L&D.

Recent advances in AI – especially the major breakthrough in the field known as Natural Language Processing represented by ChatGPT – have produced both excitement and scepticism in the learning community. What does it all mean for learning experience designers and platform managers?
Toby is not a machine learning engineer himself, but he has worked for many years at Filtered as it applied an array of increasingly sophisticated algorithms to L&D problems, culminating in its Content Intelligence technology which makes significant use of NLP approaches. In this session find out:
- How modern natural language processing works in layperson’s terms
- The breakthrough represented by ChatGPT – why it’s so much better!
- The important limitations and issues with AI natural language generation
- Potential applications in L&D & how Filtered use NLP algorithms
