Learning Technologies 2016 is here!

Learning Technologies 2016 is finally upon us and we’re really looking forward to meeting existing and prospective new members. Check us out at stand O11 across the 2 days.

Here are a few of the things that some of our directors are looking forward to:

Andy Moorman, Treasurer at eLearning Network UK CIC
I’ve not been to LT for a couple of years. I’m looking forward to catching up with old friends, seeing what’s new, and getting a flavour of what’s the ‘big thing’ for 2016.

John Curran, Chair at eLearning Network UK CIC
One of the things I most like to do at Learning Technologies is spot the newcomers to the show. I’m expecting some more in the way of video technologies and also more of a focus on games and gamification. Curation in learning has been a big interest of mine for some years – very rarely seen it done well. I blogged about it back in 2012:

James McLuckie, eLearning Network UK CIC
Recently, I have become very interested  in content curation and the concept of “playlists for learning”. I am curious to unpick any positive developments in these areas, and to establish if any innovations have been made.
Dan Roddy, eLearning Network UK CIC
As an LT “groupie”, I’ve been every year for more than a decade. For me the best part of the event is catching up with people I’ve met and worked with and seeing what exciting things they’ve been working on in the last year. LT might focus on the technology, but for me it’s about the people.
What are you looking forward to seeing?
