We’ve given the Learning Network website a fresh new look! But it’s not just a makeover as there’s rather more behind the update than a change of colours. The new site offers a better experience for members and visitors, based on your feedback over the past few years, and is the foundation for the features we’re looking to roll out over the coming months.
You’ll notice a brighter, more logical and modern look, clearer text, and a consistent feel from page to page, so wherever you land it feels like the same Learning Network website. We’ve also improved accessibility throughout the site, with better colour contrast and more readable text, with everything working properly whether you’re on a laptop or your phone. Alongside the new design, we’ve moved a few things around so you have easier access to the features you’ve told us you value the most: our events and webinars now sit in a clearer What’s On listing that’s simpler to browse and join, and your resources and partner discounts are easier to reach. Everything you already rely on is still here, just easier to find.
Our members will notice the brand-new member dashboard that brings the things you use most into one clearer place, making your membership easier to manage and giving you quick access to your member benefits. If you’re not yet a member, we’ve streamlined the sign-up process so joining is quicker and clearer. Behind the scenes this was a significant move, and we’re pleased to say it’s been a smooth one: your account, your membership and your history have all carried across intact, and you sign in exactly as before.
What’s next
The biggest reason for this work is that the new website is built to make future developments possible. The new website gives us a flexible foundation to build on, and we have plenty planned, including a fully redesigned account area, site-wide search to help you find things faster, and more community features shaped around how you actually use the Learning Network.
