The eLearning Network launches new webinar series for members, showcasing the winners of 2020’s Learning Technologies Awards.

Every year organisations from around the world submit hundreds of entries for The Learning Technologies Awards. These entries are independently adjudicated by a panel of industry experts provided by the eLearning Network (eLN).

Ahead of 2021’s Award entry registration opening, the eLN has launched a new webinar series for their members, offering an exclusive opportunity to see some of 2020’s award-winning solutions and hear directly from those behind the projects.

eLN’s Award Showcase webinar series features Award-winners including Covetrus, Kaplan Financial, Make Real and SAGE.

Jason Baker, eLN Director said:

“I’m delighted the eLN is showcasing the Award-winners over the coming months and sharing their success stories. There is no greater recognition of hard work and commitment to eLearning than winning a Learning Technologies Award. The eLN adjudicates every Award entry to the highest and most rigorous of standards – reaching the shortlist is really something to shout about. I’m thrilled we can shine a spotlight on some of the Award- winners as an example to the learning and technology world of what best-in-class looks like.”

The first webinar takes place on Wednesday, 19th May, is open to everyone in the learning profession and showcases ‘A Life in a Day’ – an immersive simulation by The Method that won Gold for ‘Best Use of Mobile Learning’ and Silver for ‘Best Use of Simulation or Virtual Environment for Learning’ in 2020.

Subsequent webinars in the series showcase learning solutions that won Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards across some 20 categories, including ‘Best technology-based onboarding programme’, ‘Most innovative new learning technologies product’ and ‘Best learning technologies project – UK public/non-profit sector’ 2020, to name but a few.

Joan Keevill, Chair of eLN, added:

“The eLN exists to help and support all those working with learning technologies. We endeavour to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen the learning technology community by providing opportunities for members to keep up to date with the latest advances in digital learning and to explore best practice. The Award Showcase is a fantastic series of virtual events that opens up access to best practice projects and solutions and provides an opportunity for learning professionals to share their knowledge and experience and celebrate their success!”

Online booking is available for the first webinar ‘A Life in a Day’ presented by Mark Doyle, co-Founder of The Method and taking place 12:30 – 13:30 on Wednesday, 19th May.

The second webinar to continue the series features Silver winner SAGE for ‘Best learning technologies project – UK commercial sector’ 2020; members can book online in due course.

Registration for 2021’s Learning Technologies Awards is to open imminently.
