Advanced Topics, Wild Ideas, and a Quiz Show on Learning Evaluation with Will Thalheimer

This event has passed.

A year ago, we were joined by renowned research-to-practice advocate—and learning-evaluation guy—Will Thalheimer. We’ve invited him back for more!

Last time we discussed Performance-Focused Learner Surveys and LTEM (The Learning-Transfer Evaluation Model), two innovations that are spreading like wildfire throughout the world. This time, Will’s going to get wild! He’ll share new stuff from the second edition of his book (just recently published). He’ll ask us provocative questions to ponder. He’ll test our knowledge on common learning-evaluation mistakes, in a fun quiz-show format. He’ll share messy stories of real-world learning evaluation!

We’ll have fun and get a chance to think deeply about one of the most important topics in learning—learning evaluation. Will Thalheimer’s sessions are not to be missed!

Not only does he bring practical research wisdom, but he’s also one of the most engaging speakers in our field.

We will explore…

  • Awareness of LTEM
  • Awareness of Performance-Focused Learner Surveys
  • Research on Traditional Smile Sheets
  • Able to Avoid Common Mistakes in Evaluation
  • Get a Practical Realistic View of Evaluation
