Introducing your resource area

For the past few years, I’ve been all about giving back to our Learning Network community. Now, as I’m heading into my last year on the board, my goal is to create a place where you can grab all sorts of downloads to boost your career or help with your content designs. Teaming up with the other directors, we’re on the hunt for content that you’ll find handy. But, we’re keen to hear from you too – if there’s something you’re after or an idea you’ve got, drop me a message on Slack or email me at kim.ellis@thelearning-network.org.

First up, we’ve got an eBook that’s all about making your LinkedIn network work harder for you. When writing “Learning to Network,” I wanted to share the lowdown on networking for people in our line of work without it feeling like a chore. I share a bit of my own networking journey, aiming to show that good networking isn’t about reinventing yourself but about playing to your strengths. The book’s set up to get you stuck in, with plans and actions to get your networking up to snuff over six months.

You can have a sneak peek at the intro below before it launches here. We’ll let you know when it is available in the resource area of the dashboard. This is just one way we’re looking to make your membership even more amazing, curating and gathering resources that hit the spot.

We’re busy pulling together a whole stash of resources just for members, and we’re all ears for what you think should be in there. Need a template? Got a cracking idea for a guide? Let us know. It’s all about making sure our resource area as useful as it can be for you.

This eBook and everything else we’re gathering are all about giving your professional network a bit of a nudge. I’m a big believer that anyone can get the hang of networking with the right pointers.
