The World of Learning Conference & Exhibition 2022 returns this October and as event partners, we’re looking forward to exhibiting, meeting you our members, and sponsoring Learning Design Live. After a break from face-to-face events owing to the pandemic, this year’s show, like Connect 2022, feels all that more special!

Here’s an overview of what you can expect at this year’s conference and exhibition…

The World of Learning Conference & Exhibition returns to the NEC, Birmingham on 11 & 12 October. Established as a hub for sharing best practice, thought leadership, and the latest learning technology this year’s event is packed with more content and networking opportunities than ever before.

With L&D rightly moving higher up the business agenda, for both employers and employees, World of Learning introduces visitors to resources, ideas, and developments to support and elevate their L&D strategies and initiatives. Whether it’s a large business looking to scale up activity, or a smaller business in need of inspiration and cost-effective solutions, World of Learning has something for every professional.

Free-to-attend seminars and workshops

Sponsored by Rising Vibe, exhibition seminars and workshops are open to all visitors. The free sessions span over two days covering everything from creating a learning culture, immersive technology, and using data, to changing organisational cultures, D&I and essential metrics. All seminars are 30 minutes which means you can attend multiple sessions and still take in all the exhibition has to offer.

Fringe Seminars

Alongside the two days of free seminars there’s a series of fringe seminars which focus on a variety of specialist topics around the main conference themes. The fringe seminars covers:

  • Smarter ways for cultivating learning in workplace communities
  • Role-based training and competency growth for the people-side of change
  • Lifelong learning – live, learn and grow.

These sessions are also free to attend. Based on their popularity from previous years and our experience, anyone planning to attend is recommended to arrive 10 minutes early to secure a seat!
